Whooping Crane is also currently a working farm, supported by several different farms in the Bells Bend Area. Acres of apple and peach orchards farmed by Tatum's Orchards, a half acre of blackberries, a herd of American Milking Devons taken care of by Bells Bend Farms and 2 acres in vegetable production by Six Boots Growers Collective. A  bio-dynamic farm located conveniently across the street from Whooping Crane Farm. Growing for CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares, produce for Nashville's restaurants and 2 farmers markets: 12 South Farmers Market and Downtown Nashville Farmers Market
